Booster vaccination against Covid-19 became available as of Wednesday morning, November 2, 2022

The Ministry of Health said that booster vaccinations will first be available to healthcare workers and people aged 75 years and older.

Vaccinations can be done at public health centers.

Those people who wished to be re-vaccinated should receive two doses of Biontech.

People who have received only one dose of Biontech will not be considered fully vaccinated and will have to complete the vaccination program.

Anyone who has received three doses of the Biontech vaccine will be eligible for a booster shot.

Two people died from Covid-19 last week, the Ministry of Health said. From October 26 to November 1, 4773 coronavirus tests were carried out in Northern Cyprus, 309 people tested positive, two people died.
