North Cyprus is a visa free country fpr most nationalities. The country does not require a prior opened visa. The visa is stamped upon arrival in the airport in North Cyprus. The tourist visa varies in duration – from two weeks up to 90 days. There are no direct flights to North Cyprus, however, over 90 flights each week arrive at Ercan located in the capital of Northern Cyprus, Lefkosa (Nicosia), during high tourist season.
Using the services of Turkish Airlines and arranging minimum waiting time of waiting in Istanbul and Ankara, the trip to Northern Cyprus will be pleasant and comfortable. Arriving in Turkey, the passenger does not need to go through the passport control or obtain a Turkish visa, but continue through to the transit hall.
Some people prefer to flight straight to South Cyprus and then cross the border over to the North. However, tourists not from EU will need to open a visa to South Cyprus that can be done online for many countries. Schengen visa is also accepted in South Cyprus.
