During the first five months of 2013, the number of people visiting North Cyprus has increased by 4.7% from last year. 444.160 persons entered North Cyprus during the first 5 months of this year. In the same period, 1,195,403 people have crossed the border of Northern Cyprus from the southern part of the island, Republic of Cyprus. Most visitors are citizens of Northern Cyprus, Turkey, Great Britain, Germany, Russia, Iran and Azerbaijan.
