Сost of telephone communications is to decrease in North Cyprus

Telephone calls will be cheaper in Northern Cyprus, due to new agreement between the TRNC government and communication firms. Deputy Prime Minister Serdar Denktas said that the changes also will contribute to raising the income of the country. Mr. Denktas, who is also the minister of economy, tourism, culture and sport, addressed the Parliament on Monday, during the discussion of the 2.8 million budget allocated for information technology and communications. He said the government is working on a strategy that will reduce the price of telephone fees in North Cyprus, making them equal with Turkey.
