Number of passengers increases at Ercan State Airport

After comparing the first nine months of 2023 and 2024, it was announced that the number of passengers at Ercan State Airport increased by 21.51 percent and the number of aircraft by 13.27 percent.
According to data released by T&T Airport Management, Ercan Airport received 2 million 859 thousand 120 passengers in the first 9 months of 2023, while this figure was recorded at 3 million 474 thousand 99 passengers in the same period of 2024.
If Ercan Airport handled 19 thousand 375 aircraft in the first 9 months of 2023, then this figure increased to 21 thousand 946 in the same period of 2024.
The growth continued in the summer months.
